Mars Bar
Conversion to Hybrid Working Model
Mars Bar like most of the world post covid had to adapt to the Hybrid working model. This was not an easy task given their current office space design. The office space was your standard dedicated workstation design with very little room for collaboration or virtual meetings.
The client asked us to re-design the existing space to cater for hot desking, collaboration spaces and space for individual or virtual calls.
On top of the space planning brief, we were also asked to give the entire space a face lift with new branding , paint , flooring, lighting and furniture. The challenge with this would be matching the rainbow of colour that Mars has into one space. Mars Multisales owns several different household brands and we would need to show their presence in the building on some level.
We opted to use Custom made graphic wallpaper to highlight the various brands within the group.

Demolition
The space had to be completely re-designed in order to adapt to the hybrid work model. Offices were removed to make way for phone or teams booths; collaboration spaces were created throughout the building and hot desks replaced the large and cumbersome dedicated desk.

Look and Feel
This was such an exiting project due to the various brands that fall within Mars Multisales. We were given full licence to embrace as many colour and graphics as we wanted. This all resulted in a vibrant office space , perfect to welcome staff back into the workspace.

Highlights
The highlights of this project was the introduction or custom made lockers for staff. Not only did these lockers give staff a sense of belonging within the hot desk environment, but we were also able to use them as branding opportunities.
